Evergreen Patch

Another one in my Christmas series. This one was also taken in downtown Portland, in a little patch of evergreens (that are there year round) in Pioneer Square. Even though it was just a tiny little patch, it looks like they go on forever.

Interesting Christmas series . You've superb dark B&W. A great depth on your shots.

Nice spectral highlights. The way you converted your B&W (I guess I'm making an assumption that you're shooting digital and not B&W film) gives this shot a 1950s look. Of course it would need the BIG bulbs that we used to put on trees and not these mini-lights :)

Rock- Thanks! Actually I did use B&W film, all processed and printed myself. (I took it in my Intro to Photo class, so everything was traditional B&W stuff.)

The background holds the twinkling promise of Christmas morning.
